On April 2, in observance of the International Autism Awareness Day, a public lecture titled – “Creating an Inclusive Environment for Individuals on the Autism Spectrum” was held at European University, organized by the Student and Alumni Service Center.
The lecture was delivered by Baia Kublashvili, Head of the Psychology Program at European University and an Affiliated Assistant Professor.
During the meeting, the speaker discussed the nature of the autism spectrum and its underlying causes. The discussion also emphasized the importance of family support and creating an accepting environment, enabling individuals on the autism spectrum to feel like full members of society.
The event was attended by representatives of the Student and Alumni Service Center, as well as students and alumni.
This activity once again highlighted the importance of inclusive education and the collective involvement of society.
