On March 23 European University hosted professors from the Mendelu Faculty of AgriSciences
On March 23, 2026, professors Daria Bahotel Batik and Andrej Bátik, from the Faculty of AgriSciences at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic), conducted a working visit to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at European University.
The visit took place within the framework of trilateral cooperation involving the Georgian Technical University, the European University and the Czech partner university. This initiative aims to deepen academic collaboration, share knowledge and experience, and develop joint educational and research projects.
As part of the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at European University, Marika Bokuchava, gave the guests a tour of the university’s new campus, which is equipped with the latest technology, modern laboratories, and educational simulators. This infrastructure provides a strong foundation for effectively implementing practice-oriented teaching and research activities.
During the visit, the Czech professors held a seminar for students of the European University on Modern Methods of Cattle Feeding and Physiology. During the presentation, special attention was given to antimicrobial resistance, one of the key challenges within the One Health framework, given its complexity and relevance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation, including opportunities for joint research projects, academic exchange programs, and professional development initiatives.
This visit further highlights the importance of international academic collaboration in enhancing the quality of higher education and promoting the dissemination of modern scientific knowledge.
