Free training was held at European University for public school teachers

Public School
Organized by the European University and the Central University of Europe, the Training Center for Innovative Teaching Methods invites public school teachers to free trainings several times a year.

On March 14, 2026 the Training Center offered teachers a new training module – “Student-oriented lesson – practical use of digital tools”, which was led by trainer Ioseb Lazarashvili (Director of Tbilisi Public School No. 58, LEPL, Citizenship Teacher of the same school, Subject Expert in General Education Quality Assurance) in the administrative campus of the European University (David Guramishvili Avenue N76). The training was attended by a number of public school teachers from both Tbilisi and the regions. The participants were awarded by certificates.

The purpose of the training: to develop the pedagogically sound and practically effective use of digital educational applications for participating teachers, in order to strengthen student-centered teaching.

Training Outcome: Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to integrate interactive digital tools into their teaching practice, create tests and learning activities on various platforms, and improve student engagement and learning outcomes.

Brief Description: The training is a practical continuation of the topic of student-centered learning and focuses on the use of digital tools in the learning process.

In the first part, participants attend a simulated interactive lesson using platforms such as Mentimeter, Wordwall, Blooket, Wayground, and other applications.

In the second part, the training continues with practical work using a “learning by doing” approach — participants create interactive activities and assessment tools themselves and receive technical and pedagogical recommendations for their effective use.
