On March 4, 5, and 6, the „Women’s Empowerment Week“ was held at European University, initiated by the Student Self-Government and supported by the Student and Alumni Service Center.

The main goal of the initiative was to raise awareness about issues related to women’s rights, health, and well-being.

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to engage in a variety of educational and informative activities. Discussions focused on women’s mental health and mechanisms of emotional regulation, while a practical self-defense workshop introduced students to the basic techniques of Krav Maga.

The program also included a sound therapy and yoga session held at Vortex Fitness.

Special attention during the week was given to women’s reproductive health. In addition, participants discussed women’s rights in Georgia and beyond in an open discussion format.

Women’s Empowerment Week concluded with a joint concert by the pop group, choreographic ensemble, and cappella of European University.

All participants involved in the program were awarded certificates of attendance and symbolic gifts.
