Students of the Faculty of Medicine Completed Clinical Practice at Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany

Students of the Medical Doctor program at “European University” successfully completed a clinical internship at the Department of Surgery of Heidelberg University Hospital, Germany, from February 23–27.

The students spent one week in Germany with full funding from European University.

The specially designed program included attending surgical operations, participating in physicians daily clinical activities, discussing clinical cases, as well as taking part in workshops on minimally invasive surgical procedures and mastering relevant techniques.

During the internship, the future medical professionals became acquainted with the latest achievements in modern medicine. They had the opportunity to engage in daily medical processes and gain valuable international professional experience.

Upon completion of the clinical practice, the students were awarded certificates. With gained experience students will strengthen their competitiveness in both the local and global labor markets.


The one-cycle Medical Doctor (MD) educational program of European University has been officially assessed by the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom and recognized as delivering high-quality medical education comparable to the standards of medical schools in the United Kingdom.
