A Training Session Was Held at European University in Partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi

On January 26, a training session “The Specifics of Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language” was held at European University in partnership with the United States Embassy in Tbilisi.

The training was led by Michael Vessio, an English Language fellow at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi.

The goal of the interactive workshop was to develop participants’ ability to effectively apply teaching methods and to enhance their professional competencies.

Michael Vessio has extensive expertise in education leadership, learning technologies, and digital communication.

This hands-on workshop was combined practical strategies with collaborative learning. Participants has engaged in interactive activities, peer discussions, and skill-building exercises applicable to diverse classroom environments.

The workshop was attended by teachers of both English and Georgian as foreign languages.
