#ErasmusDays2025 – Milena Zarkua is currently studying at the University of Piraeus, Greece

From October 13-18, Erasmus Days are celebrated worldwide #ErasmusDays2025.

“European University” joins the week initiated by the European Union and will offer various activities with the involvement of Erasmus students.

Milena Zarkua, a bachelor’s degree student of the International Relations program at European University, is currently studying at the University of Piraeus (Greece) within the framework of the fully funded Erasmus+ mobility program.

Milena Zarkua’s impressions about her mobility experience:

– How did the Erasmus+ mobility help you in your professional and academic development?
– “Starting the Erasmus+ mobility has been a great opportunity for me to experience a new academic and cultural environment. Although I began my studies at the University of Piraeus only recently, I can already feel how this experience is broadening my horizons. The lectures and seminars here allow me to better understand my field in a European context, develop analytical thinking, and enhance my ability to work independently. All of this has given me greater motivation and confidence both academically and professionally.”

– How did you adapt to the multicultural environment, and what experience did you gain in this process?
– “Living in a multicultural environment was a bit exciting at first, but now I can feel how daily interaction with students from different countries helps me become more open-minded and self-confident.”

– What new skills or competences have you acquired during your mobility?
– “Every day I learn from different perspectives and try to be more open and communicative. This process has taught me how to adapt to a new environment, work as part of a team, and express my opinions clearly. I am very grateful to European University for giving me this opportunity to be part of such an experience and to discover new possibilities within myself.”
