Representatives of the European University’s Faculty of Dentistry Visited the University of Dublin

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of the European University Sophio Samkharadze, and the Co-Head of the Program Marika Zurmukhtashvili, paid an academic visit to Dublin, Ireland.

Within the framework of the visit, they participated in the 50th Anniversary Congress of the Association for Dental Education in Europe and took part in the Forum of European Heads and Deans of Dental Schools (FEHDD), where the competencies of future leaders in dentistry and the expected learning outcomes of academic programs were discussed and further elaborated.

As part of the visit, the representatives of the Faculty of Dentistry also visited Dublin Dental School and the University Dental Hospital, where they observed the facilities, got acquainted with the specifics of students clinical practice, and explored modern approaches in dental education.
