European University announces admission to the Jean Monnet Certificate Summer Academy “European Union Enlargement – Theory, Practice, Contemporary Challenges”.

The academy lecturers are Georgian and European experts.

The program is co-funded by the European Union. An English-language certificate will be issued.

International Lectures (Online):

Date: August 25-29, 2025
Time: 10:30 – 16:00 (daily)
Format: Online, via Zoom

Closing Ceremony (In-person):

Date: September 20, 2025
Time: 11:00 – 17:00
Location: European University, Guramishvili Avenue #76, Zurab Zhvania Hall (5th floor)

Eligibility Criteria:

Language Competency: Knowledge of English at minimum B1 level.
Target Audience: Open to high school students and university students of any nationality temporarily or permanently residing in Georgia, as well as recent graduates.
Special Quota: A quota is allocated for Ukrainian youth.

Key Information:

Format: Main sessions will be held online via Zoom August 25-29, 2025. The closing event will take place in-person on September 20th.
Attendance: At least 80% participation in online sessions and mandatory presence at the concluding event are required to receive a certificate/ For those who will not be able to attend the closing ceremony, 100% attendance at the online lectures is a requirement to get a certificate
Registration deadline: August 22, 2025
Selection Process: The academy will be attended by those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and whose motivation is considered relevant.
