The second annual working meeting of the HEAL Erasmus+ Project was held from July 7 to 9 in Kutaisi

The second annual working meeting of the HEAL Erasmus+ Project сonsortium, which is coordinated by the European University was held from July 7 to 9, 2025, hosted by Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi, Georgia. During the meeting, consortium members reviewed the activities carried out during the first 18 months of the project, with particular focus on the development and revision of dentistry study courses planned within the project framework. The consortium also outlined an action plan for 2025. As part of the working visit, members of the consortium visited the Child Development and Intervention Center Bridge For Social Inclusion, the Child and Adolescent Psychodiagnostics and Rehabilitation Center Myelin and St. Nikoloz Medical-Rehabilitation Center (წმ.ნიკოლოზის სახელობის სამედიცინო-სარეაბილიტაციო ცენტრი), where they had an opportunity to learn about the centers’ activities and the services they offer for individuals with special needs (both children and adults) and explore potential avenues for collaboration. The aim of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Enhancement of special oral healthcare practice and lifelong learning among dental practitioners in Georgia (HEAL)” (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-1-101129331) is to contribute to shaping and enhancing oral health workforce by upgrading/modernising the curricula of dentistry programmes at Georgian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The project is funded under Strand 1 of the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Programme, which is a partnership between three international and three local partners: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland), Istanbul Aydin University (Turkey), and Sofia Medical University (Bulgaria).
