How to Write Resume

You should prepare your CV with a great deal of attention as CV is the first contact with the potential employer. If you are willing to get an interview, you should prepare your CV so that it could definitely catch the reader's attention.

it's important! Generally, the person who selects candidates initially does not spend more than a minute to review one CV. So, if you have not made the right accents in your CV, think that you missed the opportunity to get into the interview.

Before making the resume, take a few important principles into account: Clearly and logically emphasize your qualifications, abilities and skills in the resume. Pay attention to all the proper details. Do not allow syntax or spelling mistakes.

Two-page CV is quite enough to represent yourself, as regardless of great work experience, the three-page CV is considered to be very large in most countries. If you do not have work experience, because you have just finished school or university, your first resume should represent your education and the trainings you have attended.

Review and correct your resume in regular basis. Carefully read it  before you send it to the possible employer. Get familiar with the profile of a company that has a job vacancy, and then you find it easier to fit your CV  to the company requirements.

Resume should have a proper structure:

– Personal information

– Description of work experience

– Description of education and trainings

Provide detailed description of your qualities, skills and fields of interest.

Note: When creating a resume, use one of the standard fonts, avoid underlined or bold words. It is also good idea to check whether your resume appears on the paper properly after being printed out.

Be brief while creating a resume:

– Express your ideas in brief sentences.

– Focus on your key educational and work experience.

– Explain any failure in your career or learning.

Finally, read your resume to someone else  to make sure  you have not made any mistakes. Also, let someone assess your CV according to how understandable it is.

This was a brief overview on how to create a resume. As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, you can find comprehensive information in the article on our web-page.: How to write a CV.
